Responsibilities

Become a member of an Embedded Software Development team that forms the bedrock of our digital product lineup. You will have the opportunity to:

Engage with and implement embedded security themes, such as those concerning communication, certificates, and execution environments.
Craft, test, refine, and seamlessly integrate software into our Linux software platform.
Contribute to feasibility studies, technical architectures, and developmental methodologies.
Explore and define technical standards and strategic advancements.
Work autonomously while collaborating within an expert-rich team, all within an agile work environment.
Join a Community of Practices aimed at knowledge sharing and enhancement of development standards.
Interface directly with global suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products in a timely manner.

Requirements

Profound expertise in C++/C Embedded Programming, complemented by adept use of scripting languages like Python.
Extensive security knowledge, spanning Threat Modelling analysis and implementation (Secure communication {e.g. TLS}, Certificate handling {e.g. RSA, ECDSA}, Cryptography {AES}, Trusted Execution Environment {TEE}, etc.).
Thorough understanding of Embedded Linux, covering boot processes, system configuration, and kernel module development/customization.
Bonus points for specialized knowledge in areas like Software Update Mechanisms.
Degree in computer science, software engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
2+ years of professional code writing and review experience.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to the agile team's expanding technology stack.
Strong conceptual, analytical, and precise execution skills.
Proficient in both German and English languages.
