Responsibilities

  • Contact person for regulatory reviews and complaints
  • Organization of meetings and discussions with data protection authorities
  • Advising executives as well as the management on all aspects of data protection strategy and implementation
  • Reporting of complex data protection issues in executive summaries to the management
  • Contributing to new data protection concepts
  • Projectmanagement in the area of data governance, data protection and data security

Requirements

  • Several years of experience with Software development projects (incl. operations) in multi-team organizations and a "You Built It, You Run It" operating model. 
  • Experience in legally compliant deployment (GPDR) of international cloud solutions (AWS, SaaS providers) for topics such as customer service backend, product search, identity and access management, tracking etc.
  • Experience with data protection impact assessments (especially in the area of IoT, embedded systems, big data)
  • Nice to have:
    • A legal degree/ further education in the field of data protection or alternatively a degree in the field of business or IT law 
    • Knowledge of IT law (ePrivacy-RL, TTDSG, TKG)
