Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for implementing assigned project objectives within an overall program context
  • Your responsibility is defined in the proactive leadership and management of work packages in compliance with time planning, budget, scope, quality and project risks as well as regarding the communication of realized project benefits and values
  • You are accountable for all deliverables within your projects according to all assigned IT Projects Roles (e.g. Solution-, Test-, Rollout, Release, Quality and Service Manager)
  • You are responsible for defining precise instructions and implementing structured documentation that allows project scope and status progress to be easily tracked by project outsiders
  • You will support the continuous improvement and adherence to the project management standards defined by Vorwerk in your area and support the management of the corresponding project portfolio
  • You support the product portfolio according to the given guidelines, policies and the defined project management methodology across all countries, divisions and regions
  • You shall manage day-to-day business partners, business project managers interaction and external vendors, set and manage stakeholder expectations, communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions if needed
  • You coordinate all relevant service providers and the review of the technical solutions delivered for transfer to operations
  • You manage e-commerce functions including optimizing conversion, supporting acquisition and lead gen efforts, updating site content, managing pages and products, maintaining inventory levels, and overseeing user flow/customer experience
  • You lead cross-functional teams on an ongoing basis including stakeholders and team to ensure project success
  • When needed, you negotiate project priorities and workload with internal stakeholders and team members

You offer us:

  • Bachelor or master degree or comparable qualification in information technology studies or an equivalent education
  • Higher degree of certificate in a project management methodology (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2, PMI, MSP, SCRUM; KANBAN etc.)
  • High experience in project management
  • Proven customer centric service competence and experience in selection and steering of external service providers
  • Ability to work in and to lead large, distributed as well as heterogeneous teams in complex multi-vendor and multi-risk environments
  • Proven international experience in different regions, functions and cultures
  • Confident appearance in talking and acting towards all people involved
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for projects
  • Ability to quickly understand complex issues and take proactive responsibility
  • Intrinsic motivation for pro-active communication of progress, status, risks, issues, actions as part of the regular status reporting
  • Handles stress and complex situations easily by a continuous focus on solutions, by the ability to stay calm, by delivering clear guidelines to people involved and by using a continuous diplomatic way of communication
  • Fluent German and English language skills
